Road Glide GEN-3 Triple SPLITSCREENS Installation Concepts
The installation time for our Triple SPLITSCREENS varies mostly from 20 minutes (Harley® Tech) to 2 hours (most of us) depending on the installer’s skills and experience. Once installed, these classy screens look like they should have shipped that way from the factory!
INSTALLATION: Surprisingly EASY* for the vast majority of riders! We include links to public YouTube instructional videos for the following 2 installation tasks:
- GEN-3 Road Glide Outer Fairing removal, by far the easiest of the 3 generations of the Road Glide (for the installation of our Center SPLITSCREEN);
- GEN-3 Road Glide Headlight removal (must follow task #1, for the installation of our Side SPLITSCREENS)
*We are assuming you are comfortable drilling four (4) small holes in the hidden SUB-ASSY AIR DUCT TOP! This is an unfinished panel hidden beneath the Top Vent Cover. Our unique and proprietary center screen support method involves the installation of a black-oxide coated stainless steel hardware support package included with your purchase. Easy to follow instructions are provided in your package along with a PASS-PHRASE providing LOGIN access to our Install SUPPORT web-page.
