Softail Oil Cooler SPLITSCREEN Installation

Softail Oil Cooler with Gloss BLACK Oil Cooler Screen installed (Satin ST Bronze powder coat also available)

  • Remove Oil Cooler Cover screw. Rotate bottom outward and lift up to disengage cover.
  • Trial-place the Oil Cooler SPLITSCREEN to confirm correct alignment. Make sure to align the top edge of the screen with the top edge of the oil cooler fins and ensure the bottom edge does not obstruct the oil cooler cover attachment screw.
  • Ensure the oil cooler return tubes are thoroughly cleaned for the 3M double-sided adhesive tape (already installed on the back of the Oil Cooler SPLITSCREEN) to adhere properly. Peel off the protective film from the 3M Tape. Keeping the oil cooler screen centered and aligned, attach the SPLITSCREEN to the oil cooler.
  • Re-install oil cooler cover and admire your work!
