The Harley-Davidson Street Glide is a popular FLH series touring motorcycle also known as the “Batwing”. The Street Glide Vent Screen, also known as the Batwing Vent Screen or FLH Vent Screen, provides the Rider with relief from ROAD DEBRIS and STINGING INSECTS. The GEN-3 model of the Street Glide features the largest fairing vent ever offered for this model providing the Rider comfort from cockpit buffeting. But without a protective vent screen, NO RELIEF from impacts with Road Debris and Stinging BUGS!
As the Street Glide or Batwing ventilated fairing is mounted to the handlebar assembly, it is appropriately smaller than the frame-mounted Road Glide fairing which offers triple vents. This is the reason for the singular FLH ventilation port located in the Steet Glide fairing directly below the windshield.
